About
I love trying out new things, especially when it comes to internet technology. I never really kept a journal, but it's something that I've always wanted to do. Now, everybody will get a chance to look inside my twisted, and somewhat-warped mind. I've also subscribed to Audio Blog, so a few times a week, I'll leave actual voice blogs. Very cool!

$800 in Change... Literally
I collect change, sort it and roll it. I've been doing it for years. In spirit of commodity management and inventory reduction (I'm moving soon), I decided to convert the rolls of coins into weightless electronic money (i.e. just put moulah in the bank). I can't believe that out of $800 in rolled coins, I only had one roll that was an error (there was a dime in a nickel roll). I also had a hefty mix of Canadian coins... maybe 5%, and the bank didn't even notice, since they weighed each individual roll instead of resorting. I was happy.

So the question now is: what do I do with the money? I want to make a frivolous purchase. I haven't decided what to buy. I'm thinking that perhaps I'll just buy a Pentium 4 3.4GHz Extreme Edition CPU. It's a killer processor. It is the top of the line CPU. I currently have a P4 3.2, which sports 512K of L3 cache. The P4 3.4 EE sports 2MB of L3 cache. Not sure I'll notice any difference. Price difference is $1000 for the P4 3.4 EE and $300 for the P4 3.2. I guess I could sell my P4 3.2 on ebay. Or perhaps I buy a new digital camera or maybe a digital camcorder. Or maybe I buy new Klipcsh speakers. I have no idea. Fun.

I think you should NOT get the new processor. I don't think you'll realize much out of it.

I'd consider a new digital camera, maybe something that is a bit smaller, sleeker.

Klipsch speakers, I presume, would be for your theater?

Digital cam for sure.

Dell 2001FP. Get rid of the big and nasty CRTs you have. Besides, they are blurry.

Klipsch home theater speakers. However, I'm not in theater mode right now. I'm more into outdoor mode. Maybe I'll get that new Sony 5 megapixel camera thats the size of my Blackberry. I don't know... I kinda wanted a bigger camera where I can use different lenses. Then again, I'm happy with mine. What I need is a dye-sub printer... or maybe a Soundblaster sound card (I'm using on-board)... or maybe a USB drive/mp3 player... yeah!
