| About I love trying out new things, especially when it comes to internet technology. I never really kept a journal, but it's something that I've always wanted to do. Now, everybody will get a chance to look inside my twisted, and somewhat-warped mind.
I've also subscribed to Audio Blog, so a few times a week, I'll leave actual voice blogs. Very cool!XML Newsfeed Previous Posts

The Earthquake and Tsunami of 2004 My deepest sympathy goes out to all those that had to experience the devastation of the earthquake-induced tsunami of Indonesia, Thailand and its surrounding areas. The loss of life is well into the 100's of thousands. This is definitely one of the biggest disasters of our time. The efforts now should be concentrated on helping the survivors. If Decoma was looking for volunteers to go to Indonesia to help with the relief effort, I would go. I would even consider going without pay, if I could come back to my job. However, once the relief effort is complete, we owe humanity one more thing. The survivors need to document their personal experiences of the disaster, and scientists need to document (and preserve permanently) WHY it happened. We don't need another "Noah's Ark" story circulating the globe in 3000 years as a "proof" of divine intervention. Divinity had nothing to do with this tsunami. It was a geological event. There was a cause and an effect. posted by Dino at 9:55 AM (permanent link)
