I've been checking the Blogs (your's and Peter's) every few hours since last Thursday for the news, finally the news is here! What a blessing for the grandparents... that they now have both a boy and girl for their grandchildren! I'm just happy for you that you've made it through the long ordeal, and Terri is absolutely thrilled to hear you had a little girl. (I guess she couldn't fathom another casanova filias running around!)

You and Danielle must be totally spent... assuming you may still be running off the excitement right now, but you will soon crash. Be very thankful for all the help you will have at the hospital, take as much rest as possible as you will need it when you get home with the new little one.

It may be a while before we make it to Detroit, but when we do get there, you will be at the top of our list for visits.

I told you it'd be a girl. Can't wait to meet her and give you a big hug. Sounds like you've had a rough few days. Enjoy those first days of parenthood...they are so strange and surreal...almost like an out of body experience.

Thanks, everybody, for the support! Our little bundle of joy is so precious, I don't know how I'll be able to go back to work. Every single day she grows and changes before our very eyes. I still can't believe it.
